Christian County High School Announces Resignation of Boys Basketball Coach


HOPKINSVILLE, KY (March 19, 2024). Christian County High School Principal Kevin Crider, has
announced Toby Miles has stepped down from his position as head coach of the Colonel Boys Basketball
team. Coach Miles just finished his fourth season as head coach of the Colonels

.
“This was one of the toughest decisions I have ever made,” said CCHS Coach Toby Miles. “The time has
come for me to be more involved in an administrative role at Christian County High School. This decision
also allows for me to spend more time with my family. A special thanks to Matt Boehman for giving me
the opportunity. I am thankful for the time I had to serve as head coach at CCHS. I want to thank my
players and coaches for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of their lives. Most importantly, a
special thanks to my family for the sacrifices they have made and the support they have provided.”

“I am very thankful for the work and dedication that Coach Miles has shown to our basketball program,”
said CCHS Principal Kevin Crider. “Coach Miles is an outstanding individual that is going to continue to
have a great impact on the students and staff in our district. I look forward to continuing to work with
Coach Miles in his role as assistant principal.”


Christian County High School will begin the comprehensive search for a new head coach to lead the
Colonel Basketball program in the coming weeks.
