The Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club is inviting golfers in the community to their third annual Golf Scramble to raise funds to provide support to local organizations and children.
Kiwanis President Elect, Nikki Chambers says the Golf Scramble will take over Western Hills Golf Course on April 26 and they are looking for teams of four to compete and for businesses to sponsor the competition.
Chambers says the funds they raise will go toward Kiwanis Club programs, academic scholarships for local high school students and toward support for youth-based organizations.
Chambers says their past two Golf Scrambles were successful and something new that they are offering this year is a vacation to anyone who a can hit a hole-in-one. Chambers says a fellow Kiwanian is offering a week-long stay at their condo in Orange Beach, Alabama.
Those who want to compete, sponsor or learn more about the Kiwanis Club’s Golf Scramble can contact 270-350-1262 or visit hopkinsvillekiwanis.com. The competition will start off with a putting contest before teams take the spots across the course to tee off.
