It’s going to be cooler than people have gotten used to recently, with some cold nights in store this week and a chance of storms on the horizon.
Forecaster Rachel Trevino with the National Weather Service in Paducah says some places could dip down into the 20’s some nights this week, which won’t be good for any sensitive vegetation, so that the time to protect them now.
There are a few slight chances of rain this week, but those chances really go up during the weekend and into Monday of next week, where we could see some storms, though the details on any severe weather still need to be ironed out.
Looking ahead, Trevino says we could see several shots of cold temperatures to close out March.
