Residents to receive voting notices ahead of primary elections

With Kentucky’s primary election right around the corner, registered voters in Christian County may have received voter registration notices because of the recent county reapportionment.

The Christian County Clerk’s Office shared that the notices were mailed out by the State Board of Elections because of the county’s reapportionment which was approved by the Christian County Fiscal Court in 2023.

The Office says the voter notices can be disregarded and those who want to check their voting status can do so at govote.ky.gov and those who want to register to vote can do so at elect.ky.gov. The deadline to register to vote Kentucky’s Primary Election is April 22 and the election is on May 21.
