A Hopkinsville woman was sent to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a single-vehicle crash on the Pennyrile Parkway Friday.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, the wreck happened near the 8-mile-marker of the Parkway around 6:50 a.m. Friday when a vehicle operated by 18-year-old Beatrice Reigel of Hopkinsville lost traction on the roadway due to rainfall.
The vehicle failed to navigate a curve and went off the roadway, entered the median and struck a guardrail.
Reigel complained of head pain at the scene and was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
