The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the reported theft of a dirt bike motorcycle that occurred on Thursday.
According to a report from police the vehicle was stolen from a residence on Rose Drive. The vehicle reportedly valued at around $8,000 and no suspect has yet to be identified.
Officers are investigated the incident as theft by unlawful taking or disposition of a vehicle which is a Class D felony.
