One hurt in Pembroke Road crash

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Pembroke Road Monday.

According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Nicholas Jones of Clarksville was stopped at the stop sign on Bradshaw Road, while another vehicle operated by 42-year-old Amanda Combs of Hopkinsville was heading south on Pembroke Road.

Jones was attempting to make a left turn from Bradshaw onto Pembroke Road at the same moment another vehicle was making a turn, obstructing his view. He pulled into the path of Combs and the two collided.

Combs was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.
