Faith Bartlett and Devin Crutcher of Hopkinsville were both arrested by officers from the Hopkinsville Police Department after a search of their residence allegedly unveiled multiple drugs.
According to a report from police, officers were dispatched to an apartment at Pennyrile Homes in reference to a report of people using drugs in the home. Upon arrival officers made contact with Bartlett who reportedly admitted to having marijuana in the apartment.
After the admission, Bartlett reportedly allowed officers to search the apartment. More marijuana was allegedly found in rolling treys and officers made contact with Crutcher. Officers reportedly also found a plastic container with a white substance to which Bartlett said she believed it was methamphetamine.
Officers then asked if they could search the apartment more thoroughly which reportedly upset Bartlett who requested a search warrant. After obtaining a search warrant officers found a $1 bill containing a crushed blue powder, a handgun, a bag containing Blue M30 Pills which are associated with fentanyl and Adderall and brass knuckles on Crutcher’s person.
Neither Bartlett nor Crutcher took ownership of the handgun.
The pair was charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, first-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a prescription controlled substance in an improper container.
Crutcher was additionally charged with carrying a concealed weapon as a felony offender.
