A two-vehicle wreck that occurred at the intersection of Gateway Lane and Lafayette Road resulted in possible injuries on Friday.
According to a report from Hopkinsville Police, the wreck occurred as a Hopkinsville teenager was operating a vehicle on Gateway Lane and attempting to make a left turn onto Lafayette Road. As the teenager turned left, they reportedly pulled into the path of a vehicle being operated by Tinsley Beverly of Hopkinsville resulting in a collision.
The teenager reportedly told officers that they initially thought the road was clear when preparing to turn. The report cites that the teenager misjudged their clearance resulting in the collision.
Beverly was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries.
