Hopkinsville Public Works will begin restriping work downtown on March 4 and motorists are being given a heads up.
According to a news release, starting on March 4, restriping for on-street parking spaces the downtown area of South Main Street and South Virginia Street between East Ninth and East 14th, and also on East Ninth Street between South Virginia and Liberty Streets.
On-street parking will be unavailable while the work takes place, and there will be single-lane closures in those areas to allow for staff to work and pain to dry, weather permitting.
