The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating after a person was reportedly assaulted on Northwind Drive Thursday.
It happened around 9 p.m. into 300 block of Northwind when a suspect struck the victim in the back of the head, potentially causing serious physical injury. A suspect is redacted on the police report from Hopkinsville police.
The incident is being invested as second-degree assault domestic violence.
