A Hopkinsville man is facing several charges related to sex crimes following an investigation by the Hopkinsville Police Department.
According to a news release, detectives and the Crime Suppression Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of 27-year-old Michael Lefkowitz’s residence on Tuesday. The warrant was taken out in connection with an investigation by the HPD Internet Crimes Against Children Unit into inappropriate an explicit material involving children.
Following the search, Lefkowitz was arrested and charged with 17 counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and nine counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years of age.
