Education Cabinet announces new Kentucky Imagination Library Directors

The Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet announced that the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Kentucky has selected a new State Director and Engagement Director.

According to a news release from the cabinet, JC Morgan will be acting as State Director and Libby Suttles will be acting as the Community Engagement Director for Imagination Library of Kentucky.

The Imagination Library is an initiative founded by country singer Dolly Parton in 1995 that provides free monthly books to children between the ages of zero and five highlighting the importance of early childhood literacy. Imagination Libraries have been established across the world and Christian County has its very own at the Hopkinsville Christian County Public Library.

Before taking on the role of State Director, Morgan served as director of the Campbell County Public Library in Northern Kentucky and also helped launch a local Imagination Library program in Campbell County in 2019, according to the news release.

Prior to accepting the role of Engagement Director, Suttles worked as the director of Wilderness Trace Child Development Center, a preschool for children with and without disabilities.
