Three people were injured in a crash on South Seminary Street in Madisonville on Monday.
According to the Madisonville Police Department, a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Shirley Whitsell of Madisonville was heading south on South Seminary, approaching the intersection of Sugg Street directly behind another vehicle driven by 58-year-old Theresa Hall of Madisonville.
Hall was stopped in traffic waiting to make a left turn onto Sugg Street, when she was struck from behind by Whitsell.
Both Hall and a passenger, 28-year-old Krystal Eden of Madisonville, were taken to Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital for treatment of injuries. Whitsell was treated by EMS on the scene.
