After the potential for snowy weather moves through Monday night, the weather turns drier and warmer for the rest of the week.
Meteorologist Andy Lesage with the National Weather Service in Paducah says the weather becomes downright calm, with mild temperatures and only a small chance of rain heading into the weekend.
After that, the 8-to-14 outlook is also looking peaceful, with cooler than average temperatures and below average chances for precipitation at this time.
Things remain uncertain about the possible impact of winter weather Monday night, with a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until midnight. A dusting of up to one inch of snow is possible, and depending on where the weather front moves through, locally higher amounts could be possible.
