Hopkinsville Electric System is now accepting applications for scholarships, with the goal of awarding three $500 scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2024.
Applicants must have a primary residence in Christian, Todd or Trigg counties with a HES/energynet residential electric and/or internet account number. Applicants must have lived with a parent or guardian for at least 12 months at a primary residence served by HES/energynet, be accepted by an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school and have a minimum GPA of 2.75 out of a 4.0 GPA scale.
Applications will be accepted through April 12. Scholarship applicants will be notified no later than May 10, 2024 and scholarship recipients will be awarded at the HES board meeting on May 30.
