A person was flown to a Nashville hospital following a house fire on Old Madisonville Road Friday afternoon.
According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers, EMS arrived and treated an adult female victim for severe burns to the head and upper extremities, who was also suffering from smoke inhalation. She was flown by helicopter to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for further treatment.
The fire happened in the 7000 block of Old Madisonville Road around 4 p.m.
