One person has been displaced and a home was damaged by fire Wednesday morning.
According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Lt. Payton Rogers, the fire was located inside of the garage of a residence in the 500 block of Southwind Drive. It was quickly extinguished, but the home sustained moderate smoke damage. One resident will be temporarily displaced by the blaze.
A space heater inside of the garage is believed to be a contributing factor to the fire.
