Officers from the Hopkinsville Police Department arrested Tavoris Nix of Crofton after he was suspected to have unlawfully taken a vehicle on Thursday.
According to a report from police the vehicle stolen was valued at around $10,000 and was taken from a parking lot along North Virginia Street.
After the vehicle was recovered, Nix was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition of a vehicle valued between $1,000 and $10,000.
