A Crofton man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on North Greenville Road last Thursday.
That’s according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, with a report stating that a vehicle operated by 84-year-old Joel Wells of Crofton was heading south on North Greenville when he believes he fell asleep at the wheel.
The vehicle crossed the center line and then left the roadway, where it struck an earthen embankment before coming to a stop against a tree.
Wells was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
