A Christian County woman will be spending the next ten years in federal prison, after she was sentenced Thursday for distributing methamphetamine.
According to a news release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky, 29-year-old Ahgeana Bailey of Hopkinsville was sentenced to ten years in federal prison, to be followed by an additional one years and six months in prison for violating a previous term of federal supervised release.
That will then be followed by five years of supervised release for on count of distributing over 50 grams of meth—at the time of the offense, Bailey was on supervised release for a 2019 conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
There is no parole in the federal system.
The case was investigated by the DEA Paducah Post of Duty and the Hopkinsville Police Department.
