Christmas is coming just a little early to some families in Christian, Todd and Trigg Counties, as the Back-2-Back Foundation is making their rounds delivery presents right before the big day.
The Back-2-Back Foundation focuses each year on raising funds through the Brice Long concert held during the summer, and then using that money to help out families in need, from helping them have a great Christmas, to providing items and services that they’re in need of, from fixing washing machines, to put heating in homes, to getting vehicles up and running and much, much more.
Speaking with WHOP Friday morning, Long himself says their goal is to help the region that he grew up in and loves as much as he possibly can, however he can.
The Back-2-Back Foundation, through the concert, has raise and put over $1 million back into the community since its inception, and Long says he never thought it would get so big—but its all thanks to the peoples’ generosity.
Foundation Chair Brent Gilkey says they’ll be out delivering presents this weekend to families, and it’s truly a joy to do every year.
