The Christian County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for customers in the city of Lafayette after work was done to repair a main line break on Thursday.
In a post to their Facebook the water district says after isolating the repair site to fix a leak they have issued a boil water advisory for those in Lafayette.
The advisory is in place until further notice for addresses 124 to 1500 Roaring Springs, all addresses on North Main Street, South Main Street, Oakland Avenue, Bryan Avenue, Weathers Avenue, Old Hopkinsville Road, Church Street, Harrison Street, Cross Street, Old Clarksville Pike, White Street, Cheatam Lane, Canton Road, Lane Street and Creek Street.
