The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be permanently closing Bean Cemetery Road in Madisonville at the start of the new year.
According to a news release, Bean Cemetery Road at the U.S. 41-A intersection in Madisonville will close at the beginning of the new year—the closure will not block entry to the driveways of local businesses.
Motorists will use the newly created Baldwin Drive at an alternative route.
