Two bridges in Calloway County have been closed by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet due to their conditions.
According to a news release, the McCullough Fork Bridge on Coleman Branch Road and the Clarks River Fork Bridge on Squire Holland Road, both due to the condition of the substructure.
The order to close and barricade the bridges came after a routine inspection of the structures by KYTC certified inspectors. All Kentucky bridges get a detailed inspection every two years with long-span river and lake bridges getting additional walk-through inspections annually.
