Three Lyon County residents are facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department and the Western Kentucky Violent Crimes Task Force.
According to a news release, investigation concluded in the arrests of 42-year-old Joseph Gillaspie of Kuttawa, 41-year-old Sonja Pentecost of Eddyville and 65-year-old Garland Springs of Eddyville.
Pentecost was charged with two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of meth—Springs is charged with trafficking in meth, trafficking in marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription not in a proper container. Gillaspie is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and being a persistent felony offender.
