A portion of South Virginia Street from East 20th Street to Alumni Avenue will have daily closures to allow for Hopkinsville Electric System to make upgrades to transmission lines starting on Tuesday.
The closure was announced in a news release from Hopkinsville Public Works and the street is set to reopen full time to the public by Thursday. The daily closures are set to last no longer than two hours per day.
