On Thursday night, the University Heights Academy Blazers Boys’ basketball team traveled to Madisonville-North Hopkins to battle the Maroons in 2nd Region action.
With the help of a 30 point second quarter, the Blazers claimed victory in a high scoring affair of 90-70.
UHA was led in scoring by Gavin Grubbs with 26 points.
Three other Blazers scored in double figures to include Que Quarles (22), Tylin George (20), and Elijah Walton (14).
For Madisonville, they were led in scoring by Aaron Richardson with 15 points.
Next up for UHA, they will head to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the Tarkanian Classic from December 18-21.
