One flown following horse and buggy collision on Pembroke Road

A person was flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment of injuries following a vehicle versus horse and buggy collision on Pembroke Road Wednesday night. 

According to Christian County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Chris Miller, the crash happened around 9 p.m. in the 10000 block of Pembroke Road when a pick-up truck struck a horse and buggy in the roadway. A passenger in the carriage suffered two broken legs and was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. 

The driver of the truck was not injured. The horse was able to walk away from the wreck to receive care.
