If you haven’t quite filled your meter on Christmas cheer, the City of Madisonville has you covered as their Deck the Park event continues until January 1.
The free Christmas attraction is set up at the City Park in Madisonville at 755 Park Avenue, and showcases hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights and decoration, including a Christmas Light drive-through, two Ferris Wheels and other kid rides, special guest appearances from Mr. and Mrs. Claus and new features, such as a bounce house and a hot chocolate station.
Lucy Bess with the City of Madisonville says Deck the Park was proclaimed one of the top Christmas destinations in the state by Kentucky Living.
She urged people to come out and enjoy this winter wonderland—you can find out more online.
Deck the Park is open from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. each day, with Christmas Carolers on scene each weekend and a Nativity Scene on site, reminding visitors of the meaning of Christmas.
