Sanctuary, Inc. is partnering with a local small business to sell a festive ornament this holiday season to benefit the mission of Sanctuary.
According to a news release, the ornament is designed by The Collective 270 and is 3-inch by 5-inch wooden ornament that hangs from a purple ribbon, which is the national color for domestic violence awareness. They will be sold locally at Southern Honey Boutique, the Corner Coffee House, Ruffled Willow Floral Company, Milkweed Health and Harmony Emporium, the Farmer’s Daughter Boutique, Laster’s Coffee and Tea and the Hopkinsville-Christian County Chamber of Commerce.
Collective 270 owners Josh Osteen and Michael Phillips say they wanted to provide something that was reflective of Sanctuary’s mission, with Osteen saying, “We hope people can learn something from these butterflies and spread more peace.”
Sanctuary Executive Director Heather Lancaster says, “We are grateful for the newly established partnership with The Collective 270 who has creatively found a way to express sentiments of peace. Creating a world of peace, starts by ending violence on a local level. Each day Sanctuary, Inc. strives to support and empower survivors as they build their lives free from abuse.”
Ornaments are $20 and proceeds benefit Sanctuary, Inc.
