Hoptown proves to be the bigger Tigers in wire-to-wire in win against Caldwell Co.

When a team goes on a 16-0 run to open the ballgame, the chances of them having a great game are highly expected.

On Thursday night, expectations were met as the Hopkinsville Tigers beat the Caldwell Co. Tigers 89-51.

While their were clear skies last night in the city of Hopkinsville, it was raining in Tiger Gym as Hoptown drained 10 threes in the contest.

Hoptown did not trail once in the game, and were led in scoring by DeReion Dudley with 23 points and Antonio Williams with 21.

For Caldwell Co. they were led in scoring by Jaydarius Wilson. Coming in to the game he was averaging 21 points per game and looked like he was nearly 50 percent there 10 points.

However, Hopkinsville managed to shut him down in the second half as he only scored two points giving him a final total of 12.

Next up for Hopkinsville is a 7-game road trip, where the first stop is at Logan Co. High School on Tuesday, December 12.

Caldwell Co. will also be in action the day at Graves Co.
