Hopkinsville Community College has announced the plans for their fall commencement ceremonies set for December 8.
According to a news release, there will be two ceremonies that take place that day, the first at 12 p.m. and the second at 3 p.m. Associate of applied science, diplomas and certificates will be awarded at noon and associate of arts and associate of science credentials will be awarded during the 3 p.m. ceremony.
According to a news release, students have applied for 731 credentials, including 213 two-year degrees, 39 diplomas and 479 certificates.
HCC President Dr. Alissa Young will preside over the ceremony, Chief Academic Affairs Officer Dr. Chris Boyett will present the candidates for graduation, and remarks will be given by HCC Board Chair Ms. Leigh Durden and Student Government Association President Abigail Love.
