The Mixer will be making their return on New Years Eve, after recovering from storm damage in March of this year.
Co-owner and founder Heather Dawson made the announcement on social media, saying they’re very excited to be back in business and thanks to everyone’s support and faith, they’ve proven that they’re not going anywhere.
They’ll be having two dinner seatings on News Years Eve, with more opportunities to purchase tickets for the event coming up soon, with information to be announced on the Mixer Facebook page.
The reopening comes following months of repairs, after a severe storm ripped the roof off the building in March of this year—that storm also caused widespread damage across Hopkinsville, not long after much of the same areas had already experienced severe weather earlier in the year.
The Mixer wasn’t the only restaurant downtown to reopen after suffering storm damage—Big Fellaz on East Ninth Street re-opened for business on August 16.
