The Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday in Crittenden County.
According to a report from state police the collision happened between 21-year-old Jesika Dunkan of Marion, 28-year-old Charles Blankenship of Tiline and 59-year-old Harold Glendening of Tiline.
Dunkan was traveling eastbound while Blankenship and Glendening were traveling westbound on Highway U.S. 60 when Dunkan’s vehicle reportedly crossed the center line into the westbound lane. Dunkan allegedly struck the rear-side of Blankenship’s vehicle before colliding with Glendening’s vehicle head-on.
According to the report Dunkan was transported to transported to Crittenden Community Hospital where she died from her injuries and Glendening was transported to Livingston County Hospital where he died from his injuries.
A 2-year-old passenger from Dunkan’s vehicle was transported to Crittenden Community Hospital before they were life-flighted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A
A 7-year-old passenger from Glendening’s vehicle was transported to Livingston County Hospital before they were life-flighted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
