Two more Hopkinsville City Council incumbents have filed to run for re-election.
Earlier this week, current Ward 4 Councilman Chuck Crabtree filed his paperwork as a Republican to try and keep that seat that he has held since 2020.
Then in Ward 9, incumbent Republican Jamie Lienberger filed to run for re-election. She currently has two challengers in Republican Brittanie Bogard and independent candidate Duane Shepard.
