Two Hopkinsville residents arrested on drug charges

Two Hopkinsville residents are facing drug related charges following an investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department. 

According to the arrest reports, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Kara McDonald on November 6 due to expired registration and during a search of the vehicle, it was determined McDonald and a passenger, 32-year-old Joshua Crawford, were found to allegedly have four Fentanyl pills in their possession. 

Crawford allegedly admitted to being the one to give McDonald the pills. He is charged with trafficking in fentanyl, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

McDonald is charged with possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, along with no registration plates.
