Three Hopkinsville men are facing robbery charges in connection with an incident that occurred Thursday morning near a woodline on West Seventh Street.
Hopkinsville police say 27-year-old Maurice Catlett, 34-year-old Jeffrey White and 25-year-old Timothy Lyle are all charged with complicity to second-degree robbery, after a male victim in his 50’s was pushed and had his backpack and money stolen.
Lyle was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of synthetic drugs.
Catlett allegedly struggled with officers while being taken into custody on the arrest warrant, attempting to flee and striking an officer in the face. He was additionally charged with third-degree assault of a police officer, first-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of meth and resisting arrest.
