The Hopkinsville Art Guild’s annual Christmas Bazaar kicks off on Friday and runs through the weekend, and gives attendees the chance to support local artists and the guild while getting a head start on their holiday shopping.
Anita Cummins from the guild appeared on WHOP to share what they have in store for the community. Cummins says they will have over 20 artists selling an array of merchandise and is excited for this year’s bazaar.
Cummins shared that there will be vendors selling ceramics, hand-made Christmas cards, woodwork, paintings, holiday decorations, ornaments, fabric crafts, custom paintings and much more.
Along with local artists sharing their work, Cummins says a local special needs group will be selling ornaments made from jewelry, and all of the funds from their sales will support the group.
While patrons are shopping around, they can also get a bite to eat from food trucks that will be set up at the holiday market.
All of the sales proceeds will benefit local artists and support the guild. The bazaar will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hopkinsville Carnegie Library.
