The Hopkinsville-Christian County Boys and Girls Club is bringing home a case full of awards, including the prestigious Blue Spirit Award for Executive Director Terrence Davis.
According to a news release, the Blue Spirit Award is selected by Boys and Girls Clubs of America President Jim Clark and recognizes leaders who have demonstrated what it truly means to be a Club and community leader and have gone above and beyond to drive impact and make a difference.
It was presented Executive Director Terrence Davis at the Midwest Leadership Conference in October, and is the highest honor presented by the Boys and Girls Club of America and is only presented to five recipients across the country annually.
He wasn’t the only one bringing back an award—board emeritus Dan Kemp was inducted in the Boys and Girls Club of Kentucky Hall of Fame and past chair Holly Bivins earned the Board Members during a September ceremony in Bowling Green. Then, Board Chair Tera Bloecher was named Area Council Liaison for her work within the Kentucky Area Council.
