Christian County Public Schools are putting out the call for vendors to take part in their first ever Career Expo, to help students figure out what kind of path they want to take for their education.
The Career Expo will take place in January, and Spokesperson Johnna Brown says this is different from a career fair—this will let them explore possible future careers and contemplate what they may be interested in doing.
Brown says they’re hoping to have a wide variety of employers, agencies and businesses on site for ninth graders to explore and learn from, with hands on booths that students can interact with.
The deadline to sign up to be a vendor is November 15 currently—the Career Expo itself will take place January 31 at the James E. Bruce Convention Center from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. You can register online, and for more information, contact the CCPS Central Office.
