A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on East Ninth Street Friday afternoon.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, it happened at the intersection of Coleman Street and South Campbell Street around 3 p.m. when a vehicle operated by 20-year-old Jacob Williams of Hopkinsville collided with the back of a vehicle that was coming to a stop both due to a train and a red light at the intersection.
The collision caused that vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Trenton Hillard of Island, to go forward into a third vehicle operated by 47-year-old Felicia Howard of Hopkinsville that was stopped at the red light.
Howard was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries, along with a passenger in Hillard’s vehicle, 18-year-old Zoey Greer. Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
