An Elkton man was killed in a head-on collision on KY 181 South in Elkton Wednesday morning.
According to the Kentucky State Police, it happened around 7:50 a.m. on KY 181 South when a vehicle operated by 76-year-old Elmer Laster of Elkton crossed the centerline for an unknown reason and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer driven by 66-year-old Edgar Allison of Lewisburg.
Laster was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Todd County Coroner. The investigation remains ongoing.
KSP was assisted on scene by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office, Todd County EMS, Elkton Fire Department, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Pennyrile Electric, and the Todd County Coroner.
