Hopkinsville Police were called to a disturbance involving 21-year-old Dejona Jones who allegedly tried to hit a male victim multiple times with her vehicle.
Police received a call on Sunday regarding a disturbance which was an argument occurring between Jones and a man which ended with Jones being trespassed from the man’s property.
However, police reportedly received another call regarding Jones stating that she attempted to hit the same man with her vehicle. Police located her at the intersection of East 10th Street and Walnut Street.
The male victim spoke with officers and said Jones tried to hit him multiple times in a field near where they located her. Observing the field, officers saw multiple burnout and donut marks in the field.
Jones was arrested for second degree assault attempted domestic violence and operating a vehicle on a suspended license.
