A Guthrie man has been arrested on numerous charges following investigation into a suspicious person walking through backyards on Third Street early Monday morning in Guthrie.
According to a report from the Guthrie Police Department, officers responded to the area of Third Street for reports of two people walking through backyards and looking into the windows of vehicles around 12 a.m. Officer Honeycut responded to the scene and made contact with 20-year-old Isaiah Johnson of Guthrie, who matched the description of one of the suspects.
A search of Johnson’s person reportedly revealed a concealed firearm, restricted ammunition, and he was allegedly manifestly under the influence. It was determined that the firearm had been reported stolen out of Christian County.
Johnson was charged with theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespassing, receiving stolen property, carrying a concealed weapon, using restricted ammunition during a felony and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
