Bruce Center invites community to Hogwarts Yule Ball

After they sold out tickets for their Harry Potter birthday celebration in July, the James E. Bruce Convention Center will once again be transformed into a scene from the novel collection, a Yule Ball set to transport attendees back to Hogwarts.

Like their previous Harry Potter event, the Bruce Center is working with the Christian County Literacy Council to bring this winter event to life, some of the proceeds will also benefit the council’s efforts in the community

In regards to the upcoming ball, Bruce Center General Manager, Kaleigh Stout appeared on WHOP and shared that the center will be transformed into a winter wonderland where attendees can participate in Harry Potter trivia, get sweet treats from the Diagon Alley, compete in a costume contest and much more.

In comparison to the Harry Potter birthday celebration, Stout says the ball will be more of a formal setting, with themed appetizers, cocktails and more.

For tickets Stout says they have three different packages. The VIP package costs $75 and comes with a VIP lounge and early admission, General admission costs $35 for adults and $25 for children and the VIP hotel package costs $325 and comes with two VIP tickets and a one-night stay at the Holiday Inn.

Th Hogwarts Yule Ball is on Friday and doors open at 7 p.m. for general admission and at 6 p.m. for VIP. Tickets are available at bruceconventioncenter.com. Stout also shared that the Bruce Center is preparing for a Christmas event in December and says event details will soon be shared on their social media.
