Tonight, the Christian Co. Colonels travel to Central Hardin for the first round of the KHSAA 6A Playoffs.
The Colonels are 2-8 on the season while the Bruins are 5-5 with one of those wins originally being a loss to North Hardin 24-16. However North Hardin had to surrender some wins due to an ineligible player this season.
For Christian Co. they are coming off of a brutal 72-8 loss to Mayfield last week and Central Hardin is also coming off of a loss last week losing to Bryan Station 48-8.
Stopping the run will be key for the Colonels as the Bruins have a high usage rate running the ball.
On the season, Central Hardin has thrown the ball 109 times compared to 332 carries.
During the Chick-Fil-A Colonel Talk show, Coach Self and Coach P explained that they have been preparing for Central Hardin for 2 weeks now and believe their players are ready to take on the challenge.
