A home on Liberty Street was damaged by fire Tuesday night.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, firefighters responded to a residence in the 100 block of Liberty Street just before 11 p.m. and upon arrival, found the roof of the home actively on fire.
All occupants were able to safely evacuate the structure, thanks to functioning smoke detectors. The residents were displaced and the cause of the blaze remains unknown.
