Trick-or-Treaters take over Downtown Hopkinsville

Despite the cold temperatures, trick-or-treaters grabbed their Jack-O’-Lantern buckets, masked up and jumped into their costumes before crowding Main Street in Hopkinsville for Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation’s Downtown Halloween trick-or-treating.

Around 30 to 40 local businesses and agencies lined up down the sidewalk to give out candy, set up photo booths and games for trick-or-treaters. Parks and Recreation Superintendent, Toby Hudson says downtown trick-or-treating was a success and was happy with the turn out they had.

For Parks and Recreation Marketing and Events Coordinator, Rachel Sanders it was her first time doing Downtown trick-or-treating with Parks and Recreation and says it great to see Main Street so busy.
