A motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle crash on US 62 West in Lyon County last week.
According to a news release from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on US 62 West in Kuttawa around 8:15 p.m. last Wednesday. Investigation determined that a vehicle operated by 79-year-old Elliotte Jackson of Utica pulled off of New Cricle Drive and into the path of a motorcycle driven by 49-year-old Jody Campbell of Kuttawa.
Campbell was transported to a local hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
Jackson reportedly told deputies he did not see the motorcycle until the collision occurred—he had minor injuries but did not go to the hospital.
